GETTING A FLYING START

As the QHSE Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental standards at our Langhus plant. From the shop floor to the boardroom, your influence will be felt across the organization.

 

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

The QHSE Manager plays a crucial role in setting and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental standards within the organization.

You will

 

  • mange the site’s QHSE system and implementing routines to ensure compliance.

  • ensure the safety of all employees within the Langhus plant.

  • investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, implementing lessons learned for prevention.

  • oversee site security measures.

  • ensure fire safety protocols are followed, conduct risk assessments and hazard identification processes to minimize occupational health and safety risks.

  • actively support and promote safe practices at all organizational levels, you will Design and deliver QHSE training programs to promote safety awareness across the organization.

  • maintain contact with relevant local authorities.

  • ensure compliance with EU directives.

  • manage site ISO certificates and related audits, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international standards.


YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN
 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from similar positions

  • Minimum bachelor degree - Environmental Science, Safety Management, or Industrial Engineering or similar

  • Profound understanding of issues related to quality, health, safety, and the environment.

  • Ability to lead internal and external QHSE audits, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international standards.

  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification processes to minimize occupational health and safety risks.

  • Structured, analytical, orderly and methodical

  • Responsible and high ethical standards

  • Good communication skills at all levels

  • Fluent in English and Norwegian language (written/spoken)
