Welcoming you to the team

Located in Oslo, Norway, you will be reporting directly to VP HR and has functional reporting line to Corporate Communications. This is a temporary position for 12 months. 

 

Getting a flying start:

The Internal Communications Manager will support corporate programs, drive transformation within the Business Group, and promote a culture of one global team. You will be a key contributor in promoting the company’s strategy, and ensure communications are integrated early in all decisive processes and follow through the whole value chain.

How you make impact:

  • Building the internal communication plan in close relation with the global communication plan of the Group (including Corporate programs & campaigns)
  • Ensure key messages related to business trends, targets, HR topics, transformation and Nexans culture are shared and understood at all levels.
  • Adapt global messages to the Business Group context while ensuring alignment
  • Communicate the business vision and change turnaround within the organization to engage and mobilize employees.
  • Build and implement the internal communication plan in close relation to the global communication plan.
  • Promote employee engagement through various tools, Viva Engage and the Intranet.
  • Ensure the application of Group’s guidelines and graphic standards.

Your starting point when you join:

  • Business and/or Communication graduate degree;
  • Oral, written, and presentation communication skills; listening, analysis, and synthesis skills; open-mindedness; digital skills; solution-oriented thinking; customer focus; excellent organizational skills.
  • 3- 5 years’ experience in a communications position; international experience appreciated; additional language skills appreciated
  • Languages: Fluency in English, Norwegian and French is a plus
