The IS group of Nexans is looking for a talent that will be able to coordinate and to accompany the operational team in conducting its Contract Management Lifecycle.

The idea is to provide IS team the support to the management of supplier relationships in terms of strategy and contractual monitoring in cooperation with other internal departments (legal, purchasing).

The Apprentice IS Contract is part of the IS Performance team and reports to the IS Performance Manager.  

As a contract analyst, you will have several areas of responsibility such as analyzing the current situation, collecting and categorizing IS contracts, participating in defining outsourcing policy and objectives for IS/IT services, and supporting the group in the contract life cycle management. You will also be responsible for supporting Nexans to follow up the contracts, structuring Nexans’ software license portfolio, and proactively ensuring that contract renewals are initiated in a timely manner. Additionally, you will support the project team in data collection and contract shaping. 

 

Areas Of Responsibilities

  • As-Is Analyze
  • Collect and ensure archiving/storage of all IS contracts
  • Define & apply a new categorization framework to structure IS contracts and collect specificities (such as termination, obligation, SLA…)
  • Review and summarize contracts to ensure effective contract management.

Design

  • Participate in defining outsourcing policy and objectives for IS/IT services
  • Support the group contract life cycle management from initiation to performance review or contract termination
  • Help define a IS purchasing policy and legal guidance
  • Define a set of documents or tools to be used by IS team

Tool support 

  • Control archiving and storage of contracts (database documentation, ARIBA tool)
  • Structure Nexans software license portfolio
  • Proactively ensure that the contract renewals are initiated in a timely manner thanks to dashboards (Power BI)

Performance and continuous improvement

  • Select & define KPIs to evaluate our main contracts performance versus the SLA
  • Support the definition of management dashboards for service review
  • Contribute to the IS contract governance with legal and purchasing teams
  • Contribute to risk and security assessment for supplier evaluation

Support IS Performance team and projects management:

  • Planning management,
  • Presentation support,
  • Meeting coordination

About you

  • Apprenticeship of 2 years
  • Language : English professional written and spoken
  • Bachelor / Master in Legal ( priority to Data law – Droit numérique / cybersecurity ) or Purchasing or Engineering
  • Appetite for technology matter and data law to work in project mode
  • First experience in legal ideally in a IS department Tech company, or project coordination with contract management orientation
  • At ease with pack office (especially XL, PPT is a plus), Power BI knowledge is a plus, and willing to embrace generative AI new technologies applied to contract management life cycle .
