Join our dynamic team at Power Cables and Accessories Business Unit Operations, where we play a crucial role in the energy transition. 
The Business Unit wants to improve & optimize its industrial performance through Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI) principles, rationalization and digitalization, boost Industrial and Supply Chain Performance and cost saving programs, and strengthen the Industrial Management System at all levels, whilst reinforcing Health, Safety and Environmental compliance, supporting Nexans' mission to drive electrification and innovation.

 

GETTING A FLYING START
As Lean Manager, you will oversee multiple sites and lead key industrial projects. This role is critical in driving performance improvements, analysing variability/incidents, and implementing lean methodologies across various operations. This role is vital for supporting Nexans' strategic goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in our operational processes.


HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
•    Lean Management : You conduct performance and incident analysis to identify areas for improvement. Upgrade dashboards and reporting tools accordingly, Supervise the development and execution of action plans to address identified issues. 

 

•    Factory 4.0  & Industrial Projects : You confirm Factory 4.0/Digitalization priorities, propose a road map and lead implementation across the sites. Ensure consistency between sites. You enforce systematic project methodology (PMP) for new product launches, production transfers, and facility re-layouts. You manage personally strategic projects focused on capacity increases and the integration of new equipment. 


•    Performance Contributions: You contribute to the improvement of Safety, Quality, and Delivery performance metrics. You drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize Return on Capital Employed(ROCE).


YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN
•    Educational Background: Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with proven experience in similar position. 

•    Industry Experience: Proven experience in lean management across multiple sites, preferable multi-country, including performance analysis, incident management, and lean project supervision. Background in industrial project management with experience in product launches, production transfers, and equipment integration or background in Operations management with exposure to industrial projects and be adept at fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
•    Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and develop teams in several countries. Animation skills of lean experts and industrial managers on multi-sites / multi countries functionally.
•    Language Proficiency: Fluent in English
•    Be open to travelling regularly and spending long periods on sites.
