Plant Maintenance Manager

MAINTENANCE MANAGER (M / W/ D)

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Curative and Preventive Maintenance:

  • Focus on critical equipment, ensuring service levels and response times meet or exceed expectations.
  • Prioritize equipment compliance for safety and quality standards.
  • Take charge of equipment documentation, meticulously recording events like breakdowns, modifications, and retrofits for future analysis.
  • Implement and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess and optimize the effectiveness of themaintenance processes.

 

2. Spare Parts and Inventory:

  • Maintain and manage a comprehensive spare parts list and inventory for efficient maintenance operations.

 

3. Maintenance Strategy:

  • Promote and implement level 1 maintenance practices.
  • Define and develop the overall maintenance strategy, distinguishing between maintenance level 1 and maintenance level 2.
  • Identification of and negotiation with maintenance partners (critical skills, remote maintenance, service level, etc.)

 

4. Industrial Projects:

  • Participate in industrial projects, emphasizing equipment standardization and reliability during the specification stage.
  • Concentrate on strategic equipment and special processes.

 

5. Energy Saving:

  • Contribute to energy-saving initiatives through the implementation of good operational practices, selecting appropriate equipment, and ensuring proper maintenance.
  • Recording energy consumption
  • Supervision of the EnMS according to ISO 50001  

 

6. Team Development:

  • Lead the development of the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support for operators in production (maintance level 1)

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC milling, lathe operations, surface treatment, and tooling for CNC machines.
  • Familiarity with energy-saving practices and maintenance strategies.
  • Experience in the ISO 50001 energy management system.
  • Excellent leadership and team building skills.
  • Effective communication in both German and English and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
