Sales Director

Our team enables the company to plan and execute the company’s global strategy in our local market. With our unique portfolio of competence, products and services, aligned with our client’s requirements, we are a major supplier of solutions to overcoming environmental constraints and mitigate the climate crisis. You will lead a team of 25 members.

 

We are making new investments and will grow both in volume and margin. As market leader we also are in front, driving technology change towards more sustainable and safe cable systems. This will be a role in which you lead the sales team through a phase of change and growth.

 

GETTING A FLYING START

As the Sales Director for D&U Norway, you execute the sales strategy for Distribution and Usages Business Group. Your role involves driving sales growth, improving operating margins, and ensuring marketing coherence. You build strong client relationships, implement the Key Account Management program, and optimize the customer experience from initial contact to delivery.

 

 

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

You will:

  • Define targets and support sales teams to boost sales.
  • Improve operating margins (EBITDA) in Norway and its export markets.
  • Maintain marketing and pricing consistency across Norway in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Use market intelligence to support new product and offer developments.
  • Execute and contribute to the Strategy of D&U Nordics.
  • Oversee payment terms and factoring schemes to support cash management, ensuring accurate sales data for stock management.
  • Build strong partnerships with D&U clients to understand their current and future needs, including implementing the Key Account Management (KAM) program in Norway where appropriate.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact to delivery and after-sales management through active follow-up of sales forecasts.

 

 

YOUR STARTING POINT WHEN YOU JOIN

  • General education: 4-5 years at university
  • At least 5 years operational experience in relevant position within Nordics
  • Strong leadership skills (Leadership, teamwork, take responsibility)
  • Practical experience in Operational Excellence
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Fluent in English (written/spoken)
  • Fluent in Norwegian language (written/spoken)
  • International experience
