Nexans is already involved in various actions related to climate change, resources and energy efficiency, substances strategy; but the technical/expertise knowledge are mainly aggregated at corporate level.

 

Your mission

Within the sustainable development team in Lyon, you will participate in the development and deployment of Life Cycle Assessment and Eco-design approaches. During your mission, you will have the opportunity to interact with factory product managers worldwide, engineers at the Nexans R&D Center, LCA-PEP network in different plants, marketing and sales networks.

 

As part of your missions you will have to:

  • Carry out LCA studies and eco-declarations in collaboration with the group's sites all over the world, to meet customer expectations
  • Continue the deployment of LCA / eco-declarations / eco-design within the company
  • Develop and improve internal tools for environmental assessment and eco-design methodologies
  • Collect and process data necessary to calculate environmental impacts
  • Ensure technical and regulatory monitoring in LCA, eco-declarations, eco-design and circular economy

 

Your Profile

  • Student in engineering school or master's degree specialized in environment, sustainable development, or similar field.
  • Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies and eco-design, and skills in collecting and analyzing environmental data are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and initiative.
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral).
  • Apprentice – 1 or 2 years
