DC Electrical Grid Engineer H/F

Context

Nexans has initiated a major strategic shift from a cable generalist to a pure electrification player all along the value chain, from generation to usage through transport and distribution. In particular, Nexans will further enhance its leading positioning in interconnexions and offshore wind farm connections by delivering full solutions and cutting edge technologies. In Power Distribution and Building, Nexans will further develop its position from cable and accessories producer to delivering solutions for the management for the grid (growth, replacement, smart exploitation, asset management).

Nexans is also aware that the next generation of power grids will require even greater integration of DC Systems (solar energy, storage batteries, electric cars…). In order to anticipate this major evolution, Nexans reinforces its Innovation and R&D Department in order to accelerate the exploration on LV (Low Voltage)  and MV (Medium Voltage) DC  architectures: building, data centers, e-mobility, renewable energies.
