Financial Director - Acceleration Units

Our department provides financial leadership, supporting diverse projects and managing crucial areas such as risk, compliance, and financial planning. As part of an exciting growth phase, we are expanding our team and looking for a Financial Director – Acceleration Units to help steer our ambitious objectives forward.

 

GETTING A FLYING START

 

As the Financial Director for Nexans Acceleration Units, you will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing financial performance, ensuring compliance with Group standards, and providing strategic guidance to our team. You’ll work closely with senior management, advising on business plans and financial positioning while driving continuous improvements across accounting and financial practices. Your role will support our mission of operational excellence, enabling Nexans Acceleration Units to deliver high-impact results within the global market.

 

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

 

  • Utilize your leadership skills to shape and develop a high-performing finance team that supports the company’s objectives and growth.
  • Provide critical financial analysis and insights, contributing to strategic decision-making and optimizing financial processes.
  • Manage risk exposure for customer, metal, and forex portfolios, ensuring robust compliance and controls.
  • Oversee financial reporting and regulatory compliance, delivering reliable, timely reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive initiatives to improve cash management, cost control, and reporting efficiency, enhancing overall financial health.

YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN

 

  • University degree with at least 6 years of senior-level financial experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and compliance standards to effectively manage both local and international accounting requirements.
  • Proven success in collaborating with senior management on strategic business direction and financial impact.
  • Advanced skills in risk management and performance analysis to support business objectives.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written, essential for this role.
