As an IT Regional Infrastructure Operations Supervisor, you will report to the Head of Hosting, Global Project & Regional IT. Operating in a Global environment, you will be supervising the local coordination & the delivery of all IS IT infrastructure projects regionally by leading a team of 5 direct reports.
GETTING TO KNOW THE POSITION
The IT Regional Infrastructure Operations Supervisor will drive the IS IT infrastructure projects and guarantee the respect of Nexans standards & Cyber rules. This role will support the team to meet strategic plan issues, anticipate and recommend IS/IT evolutions in accordance with customer needs, IS/IT technological trends and resources constraints. A key element of this role is also to ensure the collaboration between the central IT management, the local IT & the business.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage functionally the regional IT infrastructure team
- Mobilize the regional IT Infrastructure team for the implementation of the IS/IT strategy
- IT infrastructure contact for the region
- Share to central team all the relevant information
- Ensure and contribute to information sharing by its associates
Project & Incident Management
- Responsible for coordinating and monitoring IT projects in the region
- Coordinate problem resolution at his level and report major problem to his/her manager
- Contribute to Major Incident resolution process, coordinating all stakeholders, ensuring processes are correctly followed and adequate communication with stakeholders and management is well performed, with the support of the area Incident Manager.
- Contribute to Change Advisory Board when changes are to be managed on the incumbent scope of responsibility
- Monitor and assign the help desk tickets for all the region, generating KPIs, proposal of improvements
Governance, Compliance, Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- In charge of raising local issues - business & IT
- Ensure the respect of Nexans rules & standards
- Is a relay of common actions at group level
- Actor in Cybersecurity issues – proactivity expected
Performance & Quality Management
- Guarantor of the quality of the delivery associated with these perimeters
- Support managing providers delivery performance by setting up standardized and published SLAs and KPIs regularly followed-up
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Contributes to sourcing and budget management for region
- Continuous Improvement
- Launch IS/IT initiatives enabling business operational excellence
- Promote transparent and effective communication within IS Department and with the business
- Supervises relationships with local contractors ensuring relationships sustainability
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE ?
Profile
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT project management in an international context
- Significant experience in direct and indirect team management
- Good technical understanding of all areas of IT infrastructure (Network, Hosting, Workplace, etc.)
- Proactive and able to get teams involved in project implementation
- Able to travel to all sites in the region
- Strong technical IT expertise in changing environments
- Experience dealing with change management issues in multicultural environments with cross countries interfaces.
