Salary Range: $125,000- $160,000

Our Nexans US project team is looking for a Project Manager to facilitate and lead land cable projects.  Our new spacious office is convenietly located midtown Manhattan and walking distance to Central Park.

GETTING A FLYING START

To be setup for success in the role, you will have extensive project management experience in preferably offshore / marine / subsea industry. You have worked in companies that are project driven, and have activities related to installation of HV subsea cables. You have experience working domestically (and internationally ideally) with projects related to interconnectors, windfarms, or power from shore. You will be comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects. You have experience in leading others through your natural initiative and drive.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role as a Project Manager with Nexans will be to concentrate on the US market to manage assigned projects and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, witth required quality and within agreed specifications.  This role provides input to allocated tenders and contributes in other defined management tasks requiring project approch.  This role will help Nexans develop its capacities in executing projects in the US north east coast.  The PM ensures appropriate resources are allocated to the project, including staff and subcontractos, manages geographically spread project team, ensures effective and adequate use of tools, resources, processes and procedures for project execution.  

In addition, this position is involved with tender activities and makes a solid impact by participating in Quality and HSE activities.

YOUR STARTING POINT WHEN YOU JOIN

You will have legal authorization to work in the United States, have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years or relevant industry and operaitonal experience.  The successful candidate has proven project management skills and experience, is a natural leader, excellent communication skills, is fluent in english and can embrace Nexans core values:  Dedicated, United, Pioneers.
