Getting a flying start

To succeed in our department, you have extensive experience from the energy, subsea or construction industry. You have experience with a combined office and site work environment. You have worked in companies that are project driven, preferably with activities related to installation of HV subsea cables. You have experience working domestically or internationally, ideally with projects related to interconnectors, windfarms, or power from shore. You will be comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects. You have experience as “Lead Engineer” and have experience in leading others through your natural initiative and drive.

How you make an impact

You will work in project teams with responsibility within the onshore and topside installation of submarine cables and belonging accessories. We provide an unique opportunity to follow a project from project award to energizing the cable system. To do this you plan for the project execution phase and lead work during the onshore/topside installation. In cooperation with the project team you manage installation packages, suppliers and subcontractors, make sure that required procedures, plans, analyses, calculations and other documentation are prepared. You will also participate in developing technical solutions within the department. You make a solid impact by participating in Quality and HSE activities internally. You will also administer personnel in project team. Typically 2 to 15

Your starting point when you join

Engineer with relevant education, Master/Bachlor or equivalent or experience with similar positions
Typically 10-15 years relevant engineering experience
Good communication skills
Fluent in Norwegian and English, verbal and written
Be able to work in teams as well as independently
Fully self-going on tasks within own discipline
Strong system understanding within own product area and strong technical competence within discipline area
Advanced ability and willingness to train others on key tasks (tools, software) within discipline / technical discipline area
Able and willing to identify improvements and to lead improvement projects
Ability to adapt to change
Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
Be able to find alternative solutions in the work
High sense of quality and on time performance
