The Nexans Summer Internship offers professional and personal development, the chance to build your network, and opportunities to tackle exciting tasks and projects. 

Our internship program kicks off on June 23rd, 2025, and runs until August 8th, 2025, with a two-week vacation during weeks 29 and 30. You’ll be assigned to one of our key departments, supported by a mentor, and receive ongoing feedback and guidance. Your tasks will vary depending on the department – from hands-on projects to continuous improvement initiatives.  


We can offer you a great learning experience, a competitive hourly wage, and social networking with both fellow summer interns and coworkers within your team. The internship is based in Oslo, so you’ll need to arrange accommodation in the Oslo area during the program.  


Who are we looking for? 

We are seeking students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, ideally in the penultimate year of their studies. Our internship opportunities are available within the following fields: 

  • Marine Installation: Engineering students specializing in Submarine, Naval, or Marine Technology. 

  • Land Installation: Engineering students specializing in High Voltage, Renewable Energy, or Energy & Environmental fields. 

  • Survey, Protection & GIS: Students pursuing Geomatics, Geology, Geophysics, Geotechnical, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering. 

  • Quality: Students focusing on Engineering, Quality, or Production Management. 

  • Human Resources: Students in HR, Organizational Psychology, or Management. 

  • Purchasing: Students studying Purchasing, Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management. 


We are looking for interns who are: 

  • Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Collaborative and effective communicators. 

  • Proficient in English (Norwegian is a plus).
