Tender Controller

Our Tendering team in the Generation & Transmission (G&T) Business Group is a cornerstone of our company's success, responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our major projects. We manage complex tenders, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial guidelines. Currently, we're expanding our team to continue our support of the company's growth and strategic goals. This is where you come in - we're looking for a new member to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to our dynamic team.
GETTING A FLYING START
In the role of Tender Controller, you will be pivotal in managing the financial aspects of our tenders. Your responsibilities will range from developing cost and profit and loss statements to analyzing cost inputs and optimizing cash flows. Your work will directly contribute to making our tenders more competitive and financially sound, aligning with the company's strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with various departments, playing a key role in the tendering process from inception to submission.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
- You'll be key in building and analyzing cost and P&L of tenders, ensuring they align with internal rules and procedures.
- Your analytical skills will be essential in reviewing cost inputs from departments, benchmarking, and challenging them to ensure the most competitive tendering solutions.
- Your active support in the tendering phases will influence our approach in negotiations and clarifications, providing comprehensive and optimized cost estimates.
- Through cost simulations, you will assess execution alternatives and their financial impacts, aiding in strategic decision-making.
- You will collaborate closely with Procurement and Finance teams to manage and mitigate various cost risks.
YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN
- A minimum of 3 years of technical or financial education, providing a strong foundation for understanding tender complexities.
- Demonstrated experience in project controlling, cost estimation, or commercial analytics.
- Proficiency in English and a strong command of MS Excel, ERP, and cost estimation tools.
- An analytical mindset and a collaborative spirit, essential for working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A proactive approach to managing cost risks in complex turnkey projects, ensuring project success and profitability.
