How you make an impact
- Responsible for the Nexans Fredrikstad site
- Contact person towards owner (Borg Havn IKS)
- Main contact person towards logistic operator (Andersen & Mørck AS)
- Ensure synergies with the Halden plant (use of equipment, coordination, common suppliers)
- Overall planning of main Equipment (Capjet spreads, work boats, KTM, turntables) (Allocations to projects) i.e. booking management with Projects
- Responsible for risk assessments and risk register for Nexans Fredrikstad and implement actions
- Logistics and maintenance analyses ie. Total cost of ownership, reliability analysis, spare part optimization. Input to investments (AR process) and optimisation of total cost of ownership. Input to decisions regarding rental versus investment.
- Suggest and implement process improvement actions
- Support to IMR department
- Ensure access control and training for all employees and workers at Nexans Fredrikstad
- Coordinate necessary training for equipment and tools
- HSE: Take personal responsibility for own HSE in all involved activities. Have zero tolerance for poor HSE standards and intervene to stop unsafe work. Act like a HSE role model for others.
- Participate in risk reducing activities related to the site and site management and contribute to closing of related actions etc.
- Take on other assigned tasks when needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedure
Your starting point when you join
- Proactive Maintenance and logistics experience
- Understanding of Maintenance Planning, Project Planning and Reporting
- Good organizational understanding between project and line organization responsibilities
- Skilled in English
- Well organized

Getting a flying start
To succeed in our department, you have relevant experience within marine installation engineering, and some experience with a combined office, site, and offshore work environment. You also have worked in companies that are project driven, and have activities related to marine installation, preferably subsea cables and/or offshore wind, interconnectors or power from shore. At the same time being comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects, ideally you are not afraid to take lead through your natural initiative and drive.
