Job Description

Position: Financial Controller & IT Key User

 

Organization

  • Direct report to Entity Financial Controller for Cheb & Hof sites
  • Location: Raciborz

Mission

  • He/she  mission is to analyse the plant/ business P&L and to ensure the follow-up of fixed costs management
  • He/she is in charge to analyse and improve the Working Capital turns together with the local management team
  • He/she is responsible of the balance sheet accounts accuracy
  • He/she is responsible of taxes package and statutory accounts
  • He/she is responsible of the consistency of the forecasts and budget construction for the site and helps the local management team to identify corrective actions.
  • In this role he/she will be a key-user supporting end-users during implementation and running of a new ERP solution

 

Roles

  • Business performing and partnering
  • Ensure adequate tracking to assess impacts of actions plans on financial results
  • Initiates/attends meetings with business owners (production, supply chain, technical, …) on a regular basis in order to follow-up events occurring in the field.
  • Continuously looks for and identifies cost reduction and cash generation opportunities at a plant and business level.
  • Forecasting and planning
    • Coordinate the annual budget construction and the monthly forecast of the site and business and detailed analysis
  • Record to report
  • Provides an accurate, timely and transparent reporting on results & KPIs (budget, actual, forecast) for the plant (financial & operational reporting)
  • Controls and manages the monthly closing process and reporting. Ensures accruals are adequate. Validates manual entries with an impact on P&L and balance sheet.
  • Justifies the site’s balance sheet accounts (especially inventory closing balance and fixed assets).
  • Coordinates the product costing process and controls related master data.
  • Internal Control
  • Enforces group and entity financial procedures and translates Nexans procedures at local level. Fosters internal control in all functions
  • Ensures periodic stock takes are properly conducted and controls inventory adjustments.
  • Business Applications Key User
  • Understand all information process of the plants and trains new users
  • Analyse and define all requests and needs from business, processes and individual users.
  • He/she translates ERP-updates into user friendly language and trains users in the application.
