Land Cable Design Engineer

In order to reinforce our Team, we are looking for a : Land Cable Design Engineer (m/f) 

 

 

Areas of responsibility

  • Design, develop and optimize High-Voltage electrical links in compliance with our customers' standards and technical specifications.
  • Prepare detailed technical offers and develop associated deliverables in collaboration with the Tender Managers.
  • During the execution phase of projects, collaborate closely with Project Managers / technical and installation teams as well as with clients to ensure the successful implementation of our Contracts.
  • Contribute to innovation by proposing innovative ideas to improve existing systems and develop new solutions.
  • Participation in technical meetings with our clients.
  • Occasional travels in France and abroad.

Key Missions

Within the Submarine and Land System Business Group, the Land HV Cable System Engineering Department requires an High Voltage Cable System Engineer to work in coordination with the Tendering and Execution Departments for all types of High Voltage Cable pure Onshore Projects or for the Onshore part of combined Offshore and Onshore Projects.

 

Qualification

  • General engineers or specialists in Electrical Engineering / related field
  • A few years of experience within HV Cable business is preferred but beginner is also welcome
  • Fluent in English
  • Thoroughness and precision
  • Able to work cross-functionally and coordinate several stakeholders (teamwork in project mode).
