The Learning Solutions team supports this growth through thoughtful and impactful development opportunities, and we are looking to reinforce our global team with an experienced L&D practitioner.  

 

As Learning Solutions Manager, you will be a critical member of a small global team who operate strategically and tactically. Your responsibilities range from L&D Business Partnering (engaging and challenging top leaders), Instructional Design (in-person and virtual), Learning Operations (logistics) and broader strategic thinking and execution to grow our learning culture. You will work side by side with the Director of Learning Solutions, contributing to the definition and execution of the Nexans global learning strategy.

 

 

Areas of responsabilities : 

Design and Deploy Transformational Learning Programs 

  • Oversee the instructional design of strategic transversal training projects, in line with organizational needs, and challenge / improve the specifications coming from internal clients;
  • Support the continuous deployment of a Digital Transformation training program, designed for operators at factory level;
  • Lead the development of digital training materials on our key industrial processes and products

 

Training Functional teams

  • Serve as a learning business partner to our key functions (Sales & Marketing, Purchasing, etc) identifying learning needs, building or sourcing solutions.
  • Establish a clear network of partners in the functions to streamline governance of functional ‘academies’ and to challenge said functions to offer continuous learning opportunities for their teams, to build personal and professional competencies

 

Build Organizational Leadership Capabilities

  • Own the semi-annual top executive onboarding program, ensuring smooth operations, participant satisfaction and continuous improvement based on feedback.
  • Participate in the refresh and development of strategic Leadership and Management programs.

 

Promote Our Culture of Learning

  • Help establish a center of excellence in learning, to support the learning needs in the Region
  • Participate in the global governance of learning through the HR Network
  • Market our learning offers in new and innovative ways (catalogs, newsletters, events) so learning is available to anyone at anytime
  • Oversee the continuous deployment of the ‘Learning Manager’ initiative, so reinforce the role of our managers in developing their people

 

 

Profile : 

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in learning & development, using digital learning solutions, preferably in an international context
  • Industrial experience : having deployed learning and training programs in a plant environment, in a context of transformation and change
  • Strong background in learning program management from instructional design to deployment, facilitation skills a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to pitch ideas and solutions to a variety of audiences from factory teams to Executive committee level.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, global environment with a track record of successfully managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with external service providers in the leaning space, and managing projects to time and budget
  • Team player, with strong ownership of his/her topics and connection with the bigger picture.
  • Teach savvy – Experience with Learning Management Systems and proficient in Microsoft Office365. Fully able to use remote collaboration tools.
  • Fluent in English and French, a third language will be highly appreciated
