Nexans Financial and Trading Services, a Nexans' subsidiary serving as cash pooling entity and the main interface of the Group in Metal, Money and Currency (FX and IR) Derivative markets, the sole source of borrowings and deposits and FX and Metal hedging of all group subsidiaries.

 

Your role in the team : 

  • Reporting to the Cash Management Operations Director, in a team composed of 2 seniors analysts and 2 analysts.
  • Team lead of daily treasury operations with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Actively participate in strategic projects (compliance, treasury infrastructure, integration) and ad hoc operations
  • Ensure seamless execution of daily treasury and payment operations, with prompt escalation and resolution of issues.
  • Follow bank interest and brokerage fee costs, and ensure efficient allocation of cash VS deposits.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.

 

Areas of responsabilities : 

Daily Treasury Operations & Process Coordination :

  • Coordinate daily Group Cash Management and Payment Factory routines, acting as a point of escalation for operational issues (involving being in contact with internal stakeholders, banks etc.. ).
  • Supervise FX & Metal back office activities: reconciliations, validations, settlements.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and compliance.

 

Monthly Closing & Reporting :

  • Ensure timely and accurate bank accounting reconciliations; review and validate banking, brokerage fees, and interest charges.
  • Support the preparation of audit documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders and partner banks.
  • Contribute to EMIR report reconciliation and regulatory compliance.

 

Payment Factory Maintenance & Projects :

  • Lead or support projects such as onboarding new entities into the Payment Factory, bank RFPs, and system enhancements.
  • Manage Payment Factory master data (partner banks, accounts, house banks, ..) to ensure data integrity and operational readiness.

 

Cash Management & Sensitive Operations :

  • Monitor and follow up on sensitive payments (e.g., M&A, bond payments) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Administer web-banking platforms with core banking partners.

 

 

Profile : 

  • Degree in economics, business administration or accounting
  • 3-5 years' experience minimum
  • Good financial background and benefits from some exposure to cash management or/and back office activities
  • TMS knowledge (SAP ideally)
  • Fluent in French and English is mandatory
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Autonomous, flexible, positive attitude, rigorous and high learning agility
