Qualifications:
- Certified Electrician 309A/442A
- Above average troubleshooting skills
- Familiar with computer software systems
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s (software & hardware)
- Knowledge of AC/DC drive systems & ability to repair/diagnose
- Experience repairing electrical breakdowns of machines, including motors, heaters, instrumentations & control systems
Duties include:
- Ability to troubleshoot machine failures utilizing tools such as AB PLC software, scopes, meters, drives software and machine manuals
- Experience performing PM checks/repairs
- Excellent safety record
- Panel building & industrial machine wiring experience is a definite asset
- Ensure that the work completed is recorded in a manner to ensure adequate information available for the Maintenance Supervisor
- Update the computerized maintenance system by completing work orders and listing parts used
