Supporting Managing reliability and global availability and production capacity of the technical equipment in the different production departments.   

Organize and plan the yearly preventive maintenance of the production installations, machines, molds and buildings in order to ensure the continuity of the production process. 

🎯 How You Make an Impact 

Supporting Managing of yearly preventive maintenance with internal and/or external resources.

• • supervise the interventions of external suppliers
  • schedule the execution of the work to be performed according to the priorities and the availability of manpower, equipment and material
  • preparing the annual maintenance budget for machines and tools and managing expenditure within the agreed budget

Supporting Managing the reliability and OEE of the production equipment by:

• • perform analyzes of equipment history, repetitive failures and root causes
  • identify of failure scenario at the most basic level possible using a reliability tool (cause tree, maintenance task analysis, preventive and predictive maintenance, etc.)
  • implementation of yearly preventive maintenance plan and procedures and align with the daily maintenance organization and monthly preventive maintenance plan.
  • monitoring cost and efficiency of the used equipment.
  • analyze losses and technical risk in the production departments and define possible technical solutions to assure the production capacity needed.

Projects related to machines, equipment, automation, test equipment, structures and methods.

• • managing the deliverables within the targeted cost and planning.
  • aligning the project needs with production, maintenance, R&D.
  • concept definition & detail design.
  • writing specifications.
  • RFQ and supplier selection.
  • technical alignment with internal and external project partners.
  • organize training and documentation (SOP, IPP, …).
  • work according the applicable business procedures and tools.
  • contact with suppliers for the duration of the project, until the start of the equipment
  • Drawing up a task sheet for preventive maintenance of new machines

Supporting Identifying and working with the team(s) on main focus areas or processes where improvements will give the highest benefit to the organization.

Supporting Facilitating reliability meetings with the various stakeholders (operation, maintenance and consultants)

Supporting Studying and developing projects on new processes and/or optimizing existing ones through investments to meet new opportunities, to enhance efficiency and cost competitiveness.

Supporting implantation of technical  projects.

• • • Concept definition & detail design.
    • RFQ and supplier selection.
    • Acceptance and commissioning, including measurement reports.
    • Evaluate equipment needs during a new project or during an investment aimed at improving current equipment
    • Help prepare planned shutdowns to ensure the implementation of the various programs and optimize the reliability of the equipment
    • Concept definition & detail design.

🧩 Your Starting Points

Master Electricity or Electro-mechanics with know-how in machine & tool design.

PC: office, 3D CAD

Languages: English & Dutch (ability in French is an advantage)

You have expertise in project management, and proven ability to communicate and coordinate with other departments

You can work independently, have a strong technical drive and are creative with conceptual insight and an eye for detail (completer-finisher), a team player, flexible, motivated.

Minimally 7 years of experience in an operational environment.
