Qualifications:
- Certified Millwright 433A
- Above average troubleshooting skills
- Ability to handle several jobs and set priorities
- Ability to weld and machine components as necessary
- Ability to repair mechanical failures of machines including gearboxes, bearings, shafts, etc.
Duties include:
- Repair of emergency breakdown work in a priority set either by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Manager
- Completion of planned work as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Planner
- Preventative maintenance checks/repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Planner
- Ensure that the work completed is recorded in a manner to ensure adequate information available for the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Manager
- Troubleshoot machine failures and repair as necessary within their abilities
- Update the computerized maintenance system by completing work orders and listing parts used
