At Nexans, our people and performance drive our industrial success. Following the acquisition of Cables RCT in 2025, Nexans Iberia is entering an exciting transformation phase, integrating two Spanish entities into Nexans Group standards, governance, and systems.

To support this journey, we are recruiting a Finance Director Iberia to join the Iberia Management Team. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee financial operations, strengthen governance, and support business performance across our Spanish entities.

This position is based on-site in Zaragoza, Spain.

 

 

Getting a Flying Start

As Finance Director Iberia, you will act as the senior finance leader in Spain, ensuring reliable financial reporting, strong internal controls, and full alignment with Nexans Group finance strategy.

You will play a key role in the post-acquisition integration, harmonizing financial processes and systems while partnering closely with industrial and commercial leaders to support decision-making and sustainable growth.

 

 

How You Make an Impact

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the Managing Director and Iberia leadership team

  • Lead and develop the finance organization across Spain (accounting, controlling, treasury)

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, robust closing processes, and compliance with Group and local regulations

  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support business decisions

  • Oversee CAPEX governance and financial planning for industrial operations

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks including FX, metals, and credit exposure

  • Deploy and strengthen internal control frameworks and finance processes

  • Lead systems harmonization and finance integration initiatives across Iberia

 

 

Your Starting Points

  • 8+ years of experience in finance roles, including controlling and accounting oversight

  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment strongly preferred

  • Proven leadership experience and ability to partner with business stakeholders

  • Strong knowledge of financial governance, risk management, and performance management

  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach

  • Fluent Spanish and English (French is a plus)
