WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM
You’ll be joining a highly skilled and collaborative engineering team within the HVDC Extruded department. Our team focuses on the design, qualification, and development of subsea cable systems that meet the highest technical and environmental standards. Your workplace will be in Halden or Oslo, reporting directly to the Section Manager.

GETTING A FLYING START
To thrive as a Senior Electrical Engineer with us, you bring solid experience in high-voltage electrical engineering, preferably within subsea or land-based cable systems. You are structured, proactive, and confident in leading technical calculations, design work, and development projects. Your analytical mindset and passion for innovation help you solve complex engineering challenges. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and in project-driven environments will set you up for success.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:
• Design and perform technical calculations for subsea power cable systems
• Develop technical documentation, reports, and qualification plans
• Plan and execute qualification programs to ensure cable system reliability
• Collaborate with production, installation, and other internal teams
• Drive technical improvements and efficiency initiatives within the department

Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will contribute directly to delivering reliable and innovative subsea power solutions.

YOUR STARTING POINT
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in high-voltage electrical engineering or system technology
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in high-voltage technology, with subsea cable experience as a strong advantage
• Familiarity with design, technical calculations, and qualification of cable systems
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Norwegian is a plus
