Finance Supervisor

Context:

  • The Finance Supervisor plays a key role in leading the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, month-end closing processes, daily metal management, master data management monitoring internal controls, and supporting operational teams with financial insights. The position focuses on supervising the execution of core finance processes such as forecasting, budgeting, cost analysis, inventory control, and cash management. The role also oversees compliance with corporate policies and local regulations while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

 

Purpose :

  • Synthesizes, analyses and comments financial information to provide a precise, clear and consistent view of performance indicators for his perimeter (Actual, Forecasts & Budgets Product / Market analysis…)
  • Is a relay to deploy and implement processes, policies and tools, providing clarifications and explanations to Finance team and cross functional managers.
  • Reports and explains in a fact-based and transparent manner his assessment of the unit’s performance based on day-to-day interactions with business owners.
  • Supports Finance Managers and Chief Financial Officer in building & implementing performance action plans. Ensures adequate tracking is in place to assess impacts of actions plans on financial results.
  • Supports that decisions are taken after a comprehensive risk and financial impact analysis, including impacts on processes and tools
  • Assists to deploy financial processes and internal controls, adapting them to local constraints/environment.
  • Supports, improve and forecast the company´s cash flow
  • Supports and play an important role on month-end/ year-end financial closing processes including financial report of the entity.
  • Supports, annual copper contracts, purchases copper throughout the year, and cover the factory demands on time.
  • Direct responsible for daily metal operations and reporting
  • Assists master data management on ERP

Required skills and qualifications:

  • University Degree  / BA or BS (economics, business administration, or industrial engineer)
  • Knowledge of IFRS and International Accounting rules. 
  • Minimum 4-5 years of controlling within a manufacturing company (preferably)
  • Fluent English skills
  • Strong personal communication and general business understanding
