WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM

You’ll be part of the Tendering team within the PWR Transmission Business Group, collaborating closely with sales, project, and finance teams. Based in Oslo or Halden, you’ll report to the Project Portfolio Tender Manager, who reports to the Head of Tendering. This is a dynamic, cross-functional environment where teamwork and precision drive success in delivering high-impact, high-value projects.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

As our Lead Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial backbone of our tenders. You’ll lead the cost estimation process, ensuring our proposals are competitive, accurate, and aligned with strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing cost structures and tender P&Ls in line with internal standards.
  • Analyzing and validating cost inputs from multiple departments.
  • Preparing pricing schedules, KPIs, and financial insights for internal reviews.
  • Supporting tender and sales managers throughout the tender lifecycle.
  • Running simulations and optimizing cash flow and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborating with Procurement and Finance to manage cost risks.
  • Driving continuous improvement through lessons learned and benchmarking.

You boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and HSE.

YOUR STARTING POINT

We know that great candidates don’t always tick every box. But here’s what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Strong grasp of commercial and financial risks in complex turnkey projects.
  • Experience with cost estimation tools, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of pricing mechanisms, bonds, insurance, tax, and import duties.
  • Analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Your personal values align with those of Nexans: Pioneer, Dedicated, United.

OUR GROWTH CULTURE
