WELCOME YOU TO THE TEAMOur story begins in 2008, as a Joint Venture company between Nexans and Al Mirqab Capital and is fully managed by Nexans. We have been involved in many of the country's most ambitious projects, of such well-known end users like Kahramaa, Qatar Rail, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Foundation, and many others. The plant is among the most advanced Nexans factories in the MENA (Middle-East North Africa) region. Being the worldwide leader in cabling solutions, Nexans has transferred its technology to QICC, which is extremely proud to contribute to the rapid development of Qatar economy aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.
In order to support the development and operations of the plant, we wish to fill a position of QC Electrical Engineer, Quality department. The role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and ensuring product quality during production, while driving initiatives to maintain and improve standards that meet customer expectations. MAKING AN IMPACT

Monitor, analyze, and control product quality during production.

Conduct simulations to determine root causes of defects and recommend effective solutions using statistical tools and techniques.

Lead problem-solving initiatives to eliminate or minimize product defects.

Formulate quality standards, procedures, and instructions in line with customer specifications.

Develop and implement quality control plans and utilize quality tools to ensure consistent product quality.

Participate in the execution of operational plans related to quality activities.

Promote quality awareness through orientation, feedback sessions, and campaigns.

Prepare and submit required reports and documentation.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all test and measuring instruments.

Issue calibration reports and update equipment history files.

Develop or revise testing and calibration procedures using the latest tools and equipment.

Provide support in troubleshooting and repairing instruments and equipment.

Perform other related tasks as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE JOB

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Electronics).

Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving ability.

Strong understanding of customer requirements and constraints, both internal and external.

Proven ability to objectively assess compliance with standards and procedures.
