WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM

You will join the Project Operations section within Power Transmission, reporting to the Director Project Management Office. As Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for leading high-value, complex projects across multiple sites, ensuring project objectives, governance, and business strategy alignment are met. You will collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, internal departments, and senior management to deliver projects safely, on time, and on budget.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

As SPM, you oversee the complete project lifecycle, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with Nexans standards. Your main responsibilities include administering the project according to the Project Model, managing geographically spread teams, coordinating resources, overseeing contracts and subcontracts, reporting progress, identifying risks and opportunities, and mentoring other project managers. You also provide input to tender processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

YOUR STARTING POINT

The best candidates may not meet every requirement, but the following background will help you succeed:

• University degree (MSc, BSc, or equivalent competence)

• Minimum 15 years of relevant industry and operational EPCI experience

• At least 5 years’ experience as Project Manager with proven leadership and team management skills

• Strong financial acumen, able to anticipate and mitigate economic risks

• Excellent commercial and legal understanding

• Ability to adapt approaches to client expectations and manage complex stakeholder relationships

• Skilled at reducing friction and improving coordination across teams, sites, and functions

• Fluent English, both written and spoken
