WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM
You’ll be joining the Land Installation department, a key team responsible for the engineering activities that ensure the success of land installation projects. Based primarily in our Oslo office (with some flexibility for Halden), you will report to the Department Manager, Land Engineering. Your daily work will involve close interaction with project managers and engineering teams across disciplines.

GETTING A FLYING START
To succeed as a Specialist Engineer, you bring extensive experience in land installation engineering and project delivery. You are well-versed in managing technical deliverables, documentation, procurement, and interfaces with subcontractors and stakeholders. Your strong leadership and communication skills enable you to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project planning, budgeting, and resource management effectively. You thrive in a structured environment but are adaptable to the dynamic demands of complex projects.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Specialist Engineer, your role includes:

• Defining and managing the scope of work for land installation based on project contracts
• Developing and documenting engineering solutions and presenting these to stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and project requirements
• Leading project teams by setting clear goals, distributing tasks, and fostering collaboration
• Planning and maintaining land installation and travel plans in alignment with project schedules
• Coordinating procurement activities including technical documentation, bid evaluation, and delivery follow-up
• Managing resources on site, including subcontractors and hired personnel
• Overseeing budget tracking and cost control within the discipline
• Ensuring rigorous quality, health, safety, and environmental standards are met throughout the project
• Facilitating clear communication and managing interfaces within the project and with external parties
• Supporting tender teams with technical advice and cost-quality feedback
• Contributing to departmental development and continuous improvement

Your technical expertise and leadership will be essential in delivering successful, competitive, and compliant land installation projects.

YOUR STARTING POINT
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 10–15 years of relevant engineering experience in land installation or related fields
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work independently and in teams with a proactive approach
• Strong technical competence and system understanding within your discipline
• Experience in training and mentoring colleagues
• Skilled in identifying improvements and leading change initiatives
• Adaptable, quality-focused, and able to perform under pressure
