As Supply Chain Manager, You lead the Logistics Department at the Buizingen plant. You are responsible for supply, planning, and logistics to optimize production flows in line with the objectives set by the Plant Manager.  Your key responsabilities are :

Quality – Safety – Environment

  •  Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and workplace regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  •   Contribute to defining and implementing Safety and Quality action plans.
  •   Support the achievement of Safety and Quality KPIs.

Supply Management (Raw Materials, Semi-Finished Products, Packaging)

  •  Supervise the supply of raw materials, semi-finished products, and packaging according to production needs.
  •   Drive continuous improvement of supply processes to optimize stock levels.
  •   Strengthen supplier relationships and service quality (Quality, On-Time Delivery, Consignment, etc.).
  •   Manage unloading, storage, and delivery of materials to the workshop.
  •   Ensure compliance with Quality standards.
  •   Oversee procurement of metals (Aluminium and Copper) in line with group rules.

Inventory Management

  •  Organize and supervise inventories in compliance with procedures.
  •   Act as a driving force for improving inventory processes.

Logistics Administration

  •  Manage all documentation related to logistics administration.
  •   Support CGP on flows, data, and documents.
  •   Oversee transport activities for Buizingen and Elouges sites (excluding purchasing).
  •   Manage drum handling and logistics center operations.
  •   Ensure customer excellence across all Supply Chain aspects.

Planning & S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)

  •  Define site capacity forecasts with the Plant Manager.
  •   Lead the monthly S&OP process, propose scenarios, and ensure implementation of decisions  
  •   to balance workload and capacity.
  •   Align S&OP with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for proper execution.
  •   Confirm lead times to Sales and internal customers.
  •   Monitor daily execution of the MPS to meet customer deadlines.
  •   Implement corrective actions in case of delays.

Budget Management

  •  Prepare the Supply Chain department budget.
  •   Ensure cost control within the scope of responsibility

Profile & Skills Required

  •  Industrial Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and 3 years in management.
  •   Fluent in French, English, and Dutch.
  •   Strong knowledge of Supply Chain tools and MRP2 model.
  •   Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  •   Technical understanding of products and industrial equipment.
  •   Proficiency in IT tools and SAP.
  •   Leadership, negotiation, and change management skills.
  •   Customer and results-oriented mindset.
  •   Strong decision-making and project management abilities.
  •   Ability to work collaboratively in teams and networks.
