Global Offer Manager

Context and Organization

 

Nexans is accelerating its growth across strategic markets, driven by electrification, energy transition, and increasing demand for complex, multi-country infrastructure solutions. To support this ambition, Nexans is strengthening its Business Development organization and reinforcing its global key account coverage.

 

Purpose of the position

 

The Global Offer Manager is responsible at the Group level for the successful lifecycle management of the new innovative global offers. He/she is empowered to design and ensure that the customer journey and customer experience become unique. The Global Offer Manager is entitled to drive a greater vision for teams to create smart but innovative strategies that advance our market share, differentiation, brand, maximizing our profitability while helping us to Electrify the Future. The Global Offer Manager is expected to drive the P&L of his/her Global Offers.

 

Main business expectations

  • Manage the development of innovative global offers to ensure Nexans’ added value over competition
  • Ensure Nexans offer relevance in line with C/P needs evolution and R&D/Innovation initiatives 
  • Offer recommendations and support for the operational marketing roll-out of global offer
  • Design digital marketing strategy for global offer and contribute to the brand development 

 

Other business expectations

  • Mobilize strong sales knowledge to better map the partner needs
  • Provide long-term analysis based on market, competitors and customers data to detect opportunities for global offer development and innovation
  • Impulse sustainability in offer development
  • Create the marketing and communication content on global offers and adapt the content to our Industrialization roadmap and S&OP process
  • Apply continuous improvement to develop scalability of Nexans global offers
  • Mobilize leadership skills to improve sales revenue through offer development

 

Key dependencies for maximizing collaboration and subsidiarity

  • Collaborate with BG Marketing and BUs to share information on offers
  • Be the coordinator of the consistency of Nexans offer with the marketing strategy at global level 

 

 

 

Areas of responsibility

 

Manage the development of selected innovative global offers to ensure Nexans’ added value over competition

  • Responsible for the management and development of Nexans strategy for selected innovative global offers 
  • Become the architect of a successful offer life cycle-management, including identify new needs and trends ensuring a proactive offer development and longer life cycle via intelligent and digital Market research, customer visits, competition benchmarks, etc.
  • Contribute to the offer business growth and profitability improvement with the leverage of the 5Ps
  • Interface with Group Strategy, Market Division, Shift Team, Design Labs, BG Marketing and BU Sales & Marketing to identify growth drivers 
  • Manage the Global Offers P&L

 

Ensure Nexans global offer portfolio relevance in line with C/P needs evolution and R&D/Innovation initiatives 

  • Ensure the creation of a unique value proposition focused on innovation and differentiation for Nexans global offers portfolio
  • Evaluate and recommend partnership opportunities to fulfill global offer vision  
  • Strengthen the innovation gates model and associated processes and deliverables including analysis for review and validation are fulfilled while advocating for superior customer journey and customer experience across all off-line and online sales channels
  • Utilize standard industry-wide applicable marketing techniques such as Marketing mix along with new and advanced frameworks 

 

Offer recommendations and support for the operational marketing roll-out of global offer

  • Build, develop and drive the offer roadmap and deployment with focus on innovation, differentiation, value creation and Prime market positioning, while supporting the operational offer strategy and implementation
  • Work in pairs with the BG Marketing leader and Segment Offer Portfolio Manager (when applicable) to coordinate global offer marketing communication actions and manage or can provide support for ones for global platinum accounts
  • Support go-to-market planning and engagement to gain successful offer adoption, including disruptive business models and new paths to market
  • Develop merchandising and e-merchandising technics and adapt the presentation of global offers to key platinum accounts needs

Partner engagement:

  • Ensure and track Improvement of sales financial results (indicators: sales, commercial margin, gross margin),  information (market size, share of wallet, competition..) customer satisfaction  

Marketing support

  • Ensure Improvement of Nexans’ brand awareness and recognition

Offer:

  • Ensure Maximized offer penetration and profitability
  • Ensure processes and methodologies are known and applied across the organisation
  • Ensure On-time and successful offer launch
  • Ensure Development of new offers that answer/anticipate customer needs
  • Ensure Increase Nexans market share on targeted offer ranges 
  • Ensure User-centric offer lifecycle management

Sustainability:

  • Reach customer/customers/partner expected service level on reporting and displaying sustainability data to partners (Resource consumption: CO2, water and carbon content, Recycled content (where possible): metals, compound, Recyclability, Local impact, Transport carbon footprint, carbon avoidance strategy)

 

 

Candidate experience and competencies

 

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills and ability to interact with operations
  • Result oriented and hands on
  • Strong experience of project type of activities in an international Group (understanding of FX issues ...)
  • Practical experience as a financial
  • Experience in the functional design, implementation and the use of performance and margin measurement tools and dashboard/score cards for project activities to support strong decision-making processes.
  • Ability to be involved as a key player in strategical decision and turn around projects
  • Ability to be a change agent to promote common tools and approaches to project controlling/ performance measurement among the industrial controllers
  • Hierarchical and functional management
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • English fluent
  • At ease in industrial environment
  • Education: BAC +5, Electrical Engineer or Business School
